Telenet Giants Antwerp continues to strengthen its roster for the 2024-25 season by signing experienced Belgian player Kevin Tumba. The 2.06m center joins from Liège, where he recorded an impressive average of 8 points and 10 rebounds per game in the BNXT League last season. Tumba, who made his debut in the 2012-13 season with Bergen, has had a rich career with stints at Leuven Bears, Spirou Charleroi, and even in the Spanish ACB with Murcia. He has also gained international experience in Greece and France. With over 90 caps for the Belgian Lions, Tumba is a key player for the national team, having participated in the European Championships in 2015, 2017, and 2022. His arrival at Telenet Giants Antwerp marks a significant step in team building, especially following the earlier signing of young prospect Arne Schrevens. Tumba has signed a three-season contract and will undoubtedly be a valuable addition in the paint and on the boards.
