Telenet Giants Antwerp verliest titelsponsor Telenet na zes jaar. Windrose Giants Antwerp wordt nieuw naam van de club. De Giants openen de nieuwe campagne in de BNXT League op vrijdag 13 september in de Lotto Arena tegen het Nederlandse Den Helder Suns van coach Paul Vervaeck. Een week later werkt het de eerste kwalificatieronde van de Champions League tegen Andorra af. Tijdstip en locatie komen volgende week. Als de Giants winnen, komen ze in de halve finale van de kwalificatieronde van de Champions League uit tegen het Duitse Bonn van Roel Moors. Windrose Technology neemt de komende vijf seizoenen de titelsponsoring van de Antwerp Giants over van Telenet. Voorzitter en CEO van Windrose Wen Han komt de raad van bestuur versterken en zal met zijn internationale ervaring de Giants naar een hoger niveau tillen. Na meer dan zes jaar titelsponsoring verdwijnt Telenet niet van het toneel. 'Het blijft de Giants ondersteunen als hoofdpartner. Telenet Giants Antwerp loses title sponsor Telenet after six years. Windrose Giants Antwerp becomes new name of the club. The Giants will open the new campaign in the BNXT League on Friday, September 13, in the Lotto Arena against the Dutch Den Helder Suns coached by Paul Vervaeck. A week later, they will play the first qualifying round of the Champions League against Andorra. The time and location will be announced next week. If the Giants win, they will advance to the semifinals of the qualifying round of the Champions League against the German Bonn coached by Roel Moors. Windrose Technology will take over the title sponsorship of the Antwerp Giants from Telenet for the next five seasons. President and CEO of Windrose Wen Han will join the board of directors and will bring his international experience to elevate the Giants to a higher level. After more than six years of title sponsorship, Telenet will not disappear from the scene. 'It will continue to support the Giants as a main partner.
